SMUX Camp 2013

SMUX Camp 2013 was executed from the 5th to 7th July, and ended on a memorable note with a group debrief and photo-taking session back in SMU Sports Hall. Our annual signature event aims to give incoming freshmen an introductory taste of our 6 teams’ activities, infused with equal elements of Fun, Adventure and Family.

This year, participants experienced trekking at Bukit Timah Dairy Farm, Laser Tag at Campus Green, Introductory Skating, Underwater Wockey/Diving, Kayaking with Water Venture as well as night cycling to supper- this in addition to 2-nights of roughing it out at East Coast Park (with Field Cooking!) and a Final Challenge on the last day!

The camp would not have been possible without the hard-work and efforts of the organising committee, helpers, group facilitators and the Office of Student Life. Of course, what’s an orientation camp without the freshmen? THANK YOU for participating earnestly and with an open mind.

We hope all our participants enjoyed themselves and will continue to stay true to the camp’s theme and LIVE WITH ADVENTURE. Remember to join us for our weekly activities and get acquainted with more SMUXies before school begins!
